The workshop will be dedicated to an advanced discussion of the present state-of-art and future perspectives of Scattering Theory and Biomedical Engineering. Papers are invited on the topics outlined above and other topics of interest which fall within the general scope of the workshop. Abstract of no more than 300 words, clearly stating the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper should be submitted to the Secretariat before 30 June, 2009. Upon receipt and acceptance, the authors will be notified on a case-by-case basis to prepare and send their full papers the latest by 30 October, 2009. Maximum length is 8 pages for regular papers and 12 pages for invited papers. Instructions for authors can be found at our Web site. The final acceptance will depend upon the review of the full-length paper.

The proceedings will be post published to a high standard by WORLD SCIENTIFIC publications, in hardback.
