Paper Submission Instructions

  1. Please use the links below to download the relevant MS Word and Latex templates. MS Word Files: .dot and .doc sample files. Latex Files: .zip sample file
  2. Log in at http://www.pdf-express.org/ to test your pdf file or convert your doc file to pdf file with the IEEE PDF eXpress™ program. Details for using IEEE PDF eXpress™ can be found here.
  3. Upload your paper here
The submissions should contain original, high quality, not submitted or published elsewhere work. Papers should strictly follow IEEE format and have a page limit of 4 pages. Extended papers of 5 or 6 pages will be considered, and the authors will be charged with an additional fee of 50 or 100 Euro, respectively. All accepted papers will be included in the proceedings of ITAB 2010 that will be published by the IEEE. Extended versions of selected papers of the conference will be invited for publication in journal special issues (SCI Indexed).

Registration and Copyrights

Authors of accepted papers must register and sign the IEEE Copyright Form no later than September 10th, 2010.

At least one author of each paper must be registered in order the paper to be included in the conference proceedings. Once a manuscript has been uploaded, the registration fees cannot be refunded. Please be sure that the attending author completes payment and uploads the final paper. A registered author can have one paper. For each additional accepted paper a separate registration is needed.

ITAB 2010 Student Paper Competition

Students are encouraged to submit their papers to the ITAB 2010 student paper competition, following the regular paper submission procedure. Submissions will be evaluated based on their originality, scientific merits, structure, and clarity of composition. All submissions will be peer-reviewed and finalists selected based on the merits of submissions must attend the Conference and present their papers as an oral or a poster presentation. First, second and third place winners will be awarded. The winners will be also invited to submit extended versions of their papers in journal special issues on topics related to the conference.

Oral and Poster Presentation Guidelines

POSTER presentation:
The title of your poster should appear at the top in CAPITAL letters about 25 mm(1") high. The author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) are put below the title.

Your paper should fit within the following dimensions:
120 cm width
200 cm height

ORAL presentation:
For oral presentations, a laptop PC, video projector, microphone, and laser pointer will be provided. The laptop PC will have Windows XP, Adobe Acrobat, Media Player, and MS PowerPoint. The presenters can bring their presentations on CD/memory stick. It is strongly recommended that presenters bring their presentations on CD/memory stick (flash drive) to store on the laptop PC at least 15 min prior to your session. Your presentation should be 12 minutes long, followed by a 3 minute question‐answer period.
